About

The North West Institute for Holistic Medicine is a group of Homeopaths, Doctors, Kinesiologists, Essence practitioners, Acupuncturists, Chiropractors and other Holistic therapists. It was originally the North West Institute for Homeopathy but changed its name in 2009 to allow a more diverse membership.

The committee is made up of:

Dr Jessica Middleton – Who has been Chairperson of the North West Institute for Holistic Medicine since its conception in 2009. She often speaks at meetings using her experience as a doctor, homeopath, acupuncturist, kinesiologist and chinese medical practitioner. She runs a busy practice in Poynton and teaches at the North West College of Homeopathy.

Sue Roberts – Our very efficient Secretary who writes you the newsletters, e-mails and does many other jobs. She is a homeopathic student at the North West College of Homeopathy, also a board member, and is a trained Therapeutic Energy Kinesiology practitioner

Peter Bloch – Who kindly keeps our website up to date and is a regular contributor at our meetings. He is a very experienced Alexander technique teacher who has practiced for over 25 years. He has also developed and practices using Bloch healing a unique form of hands on healing based on the ‘person centred’ approach to healing. He has a practice in Wilmslow.

Renata Wilde – Our treasurer who keeps our accounts up to date. Renata is a qualified Homeopath from the North West College of Homeopathy and runs a practice in Hales as well as working on the board of the College. She is a qualified Solicitor and Cease therapist (treating autism).

Our members have an interest in complimentary medicine and through the Institute they share information, increase their knowledge and network professionally and socially at the monthly meetings and online. Our meetings are monthly Thursday lunchtimes between 12.30 and 2pm and are held in the upstairs meeting room at The Coach and Four in Wilmslow click here for upcoming meetings and directions. Your first meeting is free (after which we will ask you to pay the annual £30 subscription) and hot food is available afterwards from the pub downstairs where many members have lunch afterwards.

Members can enter the secure area of this website to access a wide range of complimentary medicine information and all the handouts from our meetings as well as advertising on this website.

Membership is annual.
